Beach Art

Beach Art

This post is coming to you via airplane!  I’m on my way to California for a conference and to have long overdue time with a dear friend.  I’m excited to get some work done (sans family responsibilities) and see the beach!  It has been five years since I laid my eyes on one – hard to believe.

Feeling inspired, I pulled these images for you of rooms with beach art.  These spaces elicit such a cool feel, don’t you think?

Many of the art pieces in these photos are by renowned photographers Christian Chaize or Massimo Vitali.  One of these goes for upwards of $10,000, but lucky for us, you can buy affordable prints at 20×200.com.  (this site is currently down, but coming back soon from what I understand – they are doing inventory)

Do you need a little beach art in your life?

I always need a little beach art in my life 🙂 I grew up by the water and now live landlocked in South Texas, and I notice that all of the photographs I’m most drawn to are of oceans or beaches or lakes… clearly I’m yearning to be back by the water!

    Have a great trip!

Erin, whoa, yes, that is definitely a change in scenery! I too love the water! The trip was great! 🙂

    Grace,
I don’t know how I missed this, as Christian’s agent – but it’s so lovely that you included him in this post!

Of course you know by now, 20×200 is back in business – in beta mode – but he is also represented by galleries…shown on his website, or available by emailing him!

Just thought your readers might want to know. Happy Holidays!

    Best,
    Jenni
