Kids Bathroom Makeover REVEAL!!

Kids Bathroom Makeover REVEAL!!

Well, the day is finally here!  I am so excited to reveal our newly renovated and (finally!) complete Kids & Guest Bathroom!

You can read the article I wrote for Domino Magazine here, but please come back this week for articles highlighting the thought process behind the details of the space, plus many more beautiful photos.

HUGE thank you to Brian of Brian McWeeney Photography and his wife, Carolyn, for the gorgeous photos of this bathroom.  They are so awesome to work with, and I cannot thank them enough for their vision, professionalism, and support.  This bathroom has many angles and is overall not a huge space, and it really took someone with a lot of experience to make this room shine.  A designer designs, but it is through the lens of a photographer that a space comes to life.  I am very grateful to you, Brian and Carolyn.

Also, if you have any specific questions or thoughts, please post them in the comment section.  I can answer them there, and consequently, they may be helpful as I formulate the other articles on the space.  Thank you so much for your support and for reading here…it is usually a tough road to get to a reveal, but boy, they sure feel good!  : )  Enjoy.

See the Domino Magazine article here.

Grace. I am blown away. I’m in love with this charming space, especially the beautiful doors, the fixtures and (ahem) the art prints ;). All the art looks fantastic! It’s so exciting that your family has two gorgeous finished bathrooms! SO super proud of you and this lovely space. Can’t wait to see it in person (I’m coming over!). Love you friend.

Hey Grace! I love this renovation. Where did you get the sconces? They are perfect!

Hi Melanie, they are antique street lamps from a local salvage store! They were so much cheaper than sconces would be, and I love the unexpected element they add to the space! Thank you so much for your question and for reading. xo

    Hi
I just love your style – I’m in London and hence would a consult work from here ?

Hi Kirpal, I am so flattered! Currently, I am not taking on any E-design projects. But that could change after the beginning of the year so feel free to email me again! Thank you so much for reading, Grace

The bathroom is beautiful! I especially LOVE the stool!! I’m trying to copy your idea, but can’t figure out how to make the X to get one pipe slightly more raised over the other. Any suggestion?

Hi Leah, great question. The T bracket is a little lower on the side where the X goes under the other pipe. Does that make sense? If not, email me at grace @ astoriedstyle.com, and I can send you photos. Thank you so much for reading!
