Color Stories: Aqua & Chartreuse

Sanderson

Since my last color story post was “Aqua & Poppy”, I think you see a trend here.  I love aqua.  It is the perfect shade of cool, clean, chic, and cozy to me.  So really, aqua paired with just about anything is lovely.  While brainstorming ideas for our living room, I came across this zigzag Sanderson wallpaper and fell in love.

It has this subtle watercolor feel to it, and I think it needs to come live with me.  The colors in my living room are aqua, cream, chartreuse, a deep grey/blue, and a pop of yellow.  It is coming together, but with the construction we have going on at our house, and my surgery, projects have slowed down a bit.  Check out these rooms for some aqua and chartreuse inspiration – just what I needed, and I hope you enjoy it, too.

Hi Susan! Ah, I know! I think it may make my living room have too many patterns, so I will have to find a use for it somewhere else. Thank you for your comment!

Love these colours. Checking Sanderson to see if that wallpaper pattern comes in fabric, would love it for pillows.

Hi Lisa, I did too, and sadly, it is only in wallpaper. ARGH! It would be a FAB fabric pattern! Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment! G
