Dipped Furniture

Do you dip?

Yes, dipped furniture is not new, but I’m still lovin’ it.  It’s easy to do, it is an inexpensive project, it looks chic without trying too hard, and it can be loud or quiet.

You can dip the legs in paint or do a reverse dip so the legs are exposed.

West Elm no longer carries these, but they were cute!

How cool is this “front-dipped” chair?  Are you brave enough to have this in your home?  I can already tell you, I am not cool enough, but it’s fun to look at!

If you’re a little wary about doing this to your furniture, the good news is it looks great on accessories also!

Anyone need a little color in their kitchen?  Wouldn’t this be fun to make for a party?  To have color-coordinated silverware?

What do you think of dipping?

Oh, one more I couldn’t resist.  Toothbrushes!  How adorable are these?  So much cuter than the regular plastic ones – color code for each individual!

I went through a dipped phase last year– lots of MCM dressers with gold legs, and I replaced the hardware with the agate knobs from Anthro. Really, really pretty trend!
